October 7th ♥ 生田斗真 (Ikuta Toma)Toma joined the agency in February 1996. He used to be in a variety show for kids called Tensai Terebi kun, and since he was popular with the audience, he was offered an audition to join the agency.
During his juniors days he was part of unit M.A.I.N. and then 4TOPS, which became leader of Johnny’s Jrs. after the debut of Tackey & Tsubasa. Soon after the disbanding of 4TOPS, he started working on solo projects, such as dramas and stage plays, working his way out through acting.
Recognized by members of the agency and actors outside the agency, he has built a career on his own by delivering great performances. In 2007, he was assigned his own section in JNET and he is no longer considered a junior but more like the first member of the agency dedicated exclusively to acting. He is starring a drama this season and has scheduled two movies to premiere next year.
